First days in Oregon!

These are just a few pictures he sent us from the MTC. He left the MTC on Wednesday June 17th. We got a chance to talk to him on the phone while he was at the airport. He sounded good and was excited to be on his way.

We got an E-mail from him on Thursday his P-Day! He gave us his new address and said he thinks he will be there for about 6 months but transfers are in 6 weeks.

His companion is Elder Liljenquist (lil-in-quist). He is from Fruit Heights, Ut. and has been out for about a year. He has a two bedroom apartment and says it it nice.
They were taken out to dinner the first night and then went out and met a few members. One of the members they met has a daughter who lives here in Draper not to far from us. After he left their house they called the daughter and she and her family came looking for us. They came upon a friend of Hailies asking if they knew where we lived. They said that they had received a call from her parents about Kelton being in Oregon and how he had been to their home. They wanted to come by and let us know he was there and that he was safe and doing good. We weren't home so we missed them but it was very comforting knowing this and the fact that they would do that is just awesome!!!


The 2nd night they were scheduled to have dinner with the.. Wilde Family haha what are the odds of that he writes.
He also said that on P-Day they went hiking and played wiffle ball he loved it and said it felt like home. He says the area he is in is dead, but he knows they can do it.
He sounds upbeat and excited. He really wants everyone to continue writting he loves all the letters. He says it helps tons!!!
